Provided are a control system for a work machine, a work machine, a control method for a work machine, and a control program for a work machine, with which it is easy to reduce the feeling of annoyance of an operator. A control system for a work machine is provided with an acquisition processing unit and a state switching processing unit. The operation device is enabled to be in an invalid state.
