After the inner side of the middle of the laying device body is filled with mortar, an operator can move the pressing plate to the position of the inner side of the middle of the laying device body by holding a handle outside the upper side of the pressing plate and moving a sliding block and a sliding rod in a sliding rail of a sliding groove, and the pressing plate can move to the position of the inner side of the middle of the laying device body along with the operator holding the handle and moving on a brick through a clamping block; when mortar is evenly smeared, the pressing plate can be pressed towards the inner side of the laying device body by holding the grip, force is applied to the mortar inside the laying device body, and the effects that the mortar is promoted to move to the side of the laying plate in the laying device body and be extruded out of the laying groove, and the mortar is smeared more rapidly and evenly are achieved.
