The invention relates to a motor vehicle hinge comprising: a first hinge half (2) connectable to one of a door and a door post and having a first hinge hole (2a); a second hinge half (5) connectable to the other of the door and the door post and having a second hinge hole (5a); and a hinge pin (3) having an axis of rotation (A), the hinge pin comprising a first pin portion (31) which can be fixed in a non-rotatable manner in the first hinge bore, the hinge pin comprising a second pin portion (32) which is received in a pivotable manner in the second hinge bore, the second pin portion comprising an external thread (32a) at least in some sections, the second hinge hole of the second hinge half comprises an internal thread (40) at least in some sections, and the second pin portion can be screwed into the second hinge hole of the second hinge half. A pivoting connection of the hinge pin to the hinge halves that does not require a support bushing is achieved in that the internal thread and the external thread form a direct pivoting connection of the hinge pin to the second hinge half.
