The invention provides a preparation method of white anhydrous phosphogypsum. The preparation method comprises the following steps: selecting raw material phosphogypsum containing water and impurities; carrying out water washing pretreatment on the raw material phosphogypsum; drying the phosphogypsum obtained after washing in a drying box; uniformly placing the dried phosphogypsum in a tray, then placing the tray in an air dry oven for calcination, and taking out the calcined phosphogypsum after the calcined phosphogypsum is naturally cooled to room temperature to obtain the anhydrous phosphogypsum. According to the white anhydrous phosphogypsum and the preparation method provided by the invention, after the phosphogypsum is subjected to water washing pretreatment, the content of harmful impurities in the phosphogypsum is obviously reduced, and the whiteness of the calcined phosphogypsum can be obviously improved after the water washing pretreatment.
