The invention discloses an intelligent vehicle intercepting system which comprises a fixing column, a main intercepting plate, a driving device and a driving device. The overload driving mechanism comprises a sliding meshing ring which slides in the radial direction of the fixing column all the time and is coupled with the main intercepting plate, the sliding meshing ring rotates to drive the main intercepting plate to turn over to block a road, and the main intercepting plate is stressed to turn over so as to be separated from the sliding meshing ring to be unlocked. According to the intelligent vehicle intercepting system provided by the invention, the overload driving mechanism is utilized, the main intercepting plate can be coupled and overturned along with the sliding meshing ring to seal the intercepting passage, and when a dangerous cargo transport vehicle forcibly breaks through the passage, the main intercepting plate can be impacted, so that the main intercepting plate is forcibly overturned and pushes the sliding meshing ring which cannot bear impact force to be separated; therefore, when the dangerous cargo transport vehicle runs through a breakthrough, the main intercepting plate does not have too large obstruction, normal running of the vehicle is not affected, and the personal safety of a driver is protected.
