The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, and discloses a wallboard and a manufacturing method thereof.The wallboard comprises an inner wall board and an edge banding, the inner wall board is provided with first boards and second boards, the first boards are arranged at intervals in the first direction and extend straightly, and a containing space is formed between every two adjacent first boards; the second plates are arranged in the containing space in a one-to-one correspondence mode, connected with the two adjacent first plates respectively and extend in a wavy mode in the second direction, the two edge sealing strips are connected to the two side faces of the first plates respectively in the second direction, and the first plates and the second plates are formed through a mold and bonded to form the wall plate. The wallboard has the beneficial effects that the wallboard is lighter in weight, more flexible in manufacturing size, more convenient to manufacture and better in sound insulation effect, a large number of pipelines can be pre-buried in advance due to the structural characteristic that the interior of the wallboard is provided with multiple cavities and multiple holes, flexibility is high, meanwhile, the manufacturing process is simple and convenient, the structure of the board in the wall can be changed, increased or decreased according to needs, and using is flexible.
