The invention relates to an actuating mechanism (100) for actuating a vehicle door, in particular for opening a vehicle door, said actuating mechanism (100) comprising: an actuating device (104) which can be transferred from an initial position to a first actuating position for generating an electric actuating signal and to a second actuating position for manually actuating the vehicle door; a first flat spring (138) connected to the actuation device (104) such that the first flat spring (138) generates haptic and/or auditory feedback when the actuation device (104) is transferred to the first actuation position; and such that the first flat spring preferably biases the actuating device to an initial position; and a second spring (146), in particular a second flat spring (146), which is connected to the actuating device (104).
