The invention discloses a raw material composition of an electric furnace cover, which comprises tabular corundum, zirconium mullite, silica powder, calcium aluminate cement, fused quartz powder, explosion-proof fiber and water, and electric furnace assembling blocks formed by pouring the raw material composition, and the electric furnace assembling blocks are assembled to form a combined electric arc furnace water-free cooling furnace cover. The furnace cover has high thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance and stripping resistance, water cooling is not needed in the using process, the safety problem caused by water cooling of the furnace cover is solved, meanwhile, the service life of the furnace cover is long, when part of the area is damaged, only the furnace cover splicing blocks at the damaged position need to be replaced, the manufacturing cost is saved, and the working efficiency is improved.
