The invention discloses a paving base plate prepared from a polyethylene composition, and the paving base plate comprises a base plate main body, an L-shaped first base plate connecting part and an L-shaped second base plate connecting part, so that the large and flat paving base plate can be formed when a plurality of base plates are spliced along a plane direction; a polyethylene composition for preparing the base plate comprises 100 parts of polyethylene, 5-10 parts of a compatilizer, 25-45 parts of a flame retardant, 8-12 parts of an antistatic agent, 0.15-0.25 part of an antioxidant and 0.3-0.5 part of a processing aid. Wherein the flame retardant is prepared from nano magnesium hydroxide and red phosphorus in a mass ratio of (2: 1)-(1: 2); wherein the polyethylene component is prepared from 70 to 95 parts of high-density polyethylene and 5 to 30 parts of linear low-density polyethylene. The paving base plate disclosed by the invention not only has good flame-retardant and antistatic properties, but also has good mechanical properties.
