The invention relates to a charging parking space (2a, 2b) for carrying out a charging process for a vehicle, the vehicle having at least one inductive charging interface, the charging parking space (2a) having a plurality of inductive charging zones (4a, 4b), each charging zone (4a, 4b) being either activatable or deactivatable, the vehicle being parked on the charging parking space (2a) in order to carry out the charging process, only at least one charging zone (4a) of the charging parking space (2a), which is arranged directly below the at least one inductive charging interface of the vehicle, is activated, the at least one activated charging zone (4a) being designed to generate a magnetic field for transmitting electrical energy to the at least one inductive charging interface of the vehicle.
