The compact 5G communication tower with the automatic lifting maintenance platform comprises a base, a tower column is fixedly installed on the base, four vertical guide grooves are formed in the outer side of the tower column, the outer side of the tower column is sleeved with a connecting sleeve, and a buffer moving part is installed on the inner side of the connecting sleeve; and the buffer moving part is movably connected and matched with the four connecting sleeves. The driving mechanism is started to drive the connecting sleeve to vertically move along the four vertical guide grooves in the outer side of the tower column through the buffer moving part, so that the antenna module is driven to freely ascend and descend, the antenna module and the bearing mechanism connected with the antenna module are directly used as a whole platform to descend without carrying people, maintenance personnel only need to wait under the tower, and the maintenance efficiency is improved.
