The lightweight aggregate is formed by mixing expanded perlite, modified glass beads and hydrophobic silicon dioxide aerogel powder according to the mass ratio of (6-7): (2-3): 1; on the basis of a traditional light plastering gypsum formula, the light aggregate formed by mixing the expanded perlite, the modified glass beads and the hydrophobic silicon dioxide aerogel powder is added and used, the dry density of the light plastering gypsum can be reduced, and the stability, the heat preservation property and the mechanical property of the light plastering gypsum can also be improved.
