The invention discloses an immersed roadbed and a construction method thereof. The immersed roadbed comprises a base, a foundation, a reinforcing assembly, a roadbed body, a pavement layer, a hydrophobic assembly and a drainage assembly. And the foundation is tamped above the base. The reinforcing assembly is of a concave structure with a downward opening, the two sides of the concave structure incline outwards from top to bottom, and the reinforcing assembly covers the foundation. The concave cavity of the reinforcing assembly is filled with the roadbed. The pavement layer is built above the reinforcing assembly. The drainage assembly is arranged above the foundation and below the roadbed, and the drainage assembly is used for guiding water permeating into the roadbed to the outside of the roadbed. The drainage assembly is arranged above the foundation and below the drainage assembly, and the drainage assembly is used for guiding water flowing out of the drainage assembly to the outside of the base.
