The invention discloses a process for machining and manufacturing a steel arch shell by adopting a jig frame, the process is used for manufacturing the steel arch shell, the steel arch shell is connected to a flat bridge, the steel arch shell comprises an arch rib middle part and four side longitudinal beam ends, the arch rib middle part is opened and hollowed out from top to bottom, and the four side longitudinal beam ends are arranged on the arch rib middle part. The four side longitudinal beam ends are connected to the four ends of a bottom port in the middle of the arch rib respectively. The manufacturing process comprises the steps that the special-shaped webs used for assembling the middles of the arch ribs are manufactured, the multiple special-shaped webs are assembled on a jig frame, and the multiple assembled special-shaped webs are coated; the jig frame comprises a plurality of stand columns and a plurality of inclined rods.
