The invention discloses a steel arch shell construction process, which is used for splicing special-shaped parts into a steel arch shell and mounting the steel arch shell on a flat bridge, and comprises the following steps: S1, transporting the special-shaped parts to the flat bridge by using a vehicle; s2, a supporting frame is built from the two ends of the flat bridge to the center, and the supporting frame is close to the side edge of the flat bridge; s3, the two hoisting devices are started, the two hoisting devices hoist the special-shaped part from the two ends of the flat bridge to the center to be installed on the side edge of the flat bridge, and the supporting frame supports the special-shaped part; and S4, every two adjacent special-shaped parts are welded. The two hoisting devices are mutually closed, and the special-shaped part is supported by the supporting frame, so that the connecting radian of the special-shaped connecting part is guaranteed; the two special-shaped parts are separated through a second cushion layer, and second soft cushions are laid on the two side faces of the second cushion layer, so that protection of the special-shaped parts in the transportation process is guaranteed.
