The construction method comprises the following steps: 1, carrying out construction platform operation in a riverway; 2, after construction of a lead wire gabion slope protection on an occupied body and a river side is finished, filling earthwork to a river back side and widening a construction platform; 3, pile sinking is conducted, specifically, a hoisting machine runs to the designated position from the shore side along the construction platform, and pile sinking operation is conducted one by one according to the designed position, the pile dam axis and the pile distance; 4, a bottom protection structure is hoisted on the construction platform, then each pile is sleeved with the ballasting ring, and the ballasting rings are located on the top face of the bottom protection structure; 5, the side face connecting structures connected with the piles are arranged on the two sides of the adjacent river and the back river of the pile dam, and the top connecting structure is arranged on the top of the pile dam; and 6, chain assemblies are arranged on the two sides of the adjacent river and the back river of the pile dam correspondingly. The construction method is strict in step logic, simple and convenient in construction, high in construction speed, easy in quality control and low in engineering investment.
