The invention provides an inverted-U-shaped soil nail supporting structure which comprises an after-slope soil body, inverted-U-shaped soil nails, horizontal pressing ribs, slurry and a surface layer, soil nail holes are evenly formed in an excavated slope surface at intervals, the inverted-U-shaped soil nails are inserted into the soil nail holes, the slurry is poured into the soil nail holes to fix the inverted-U-shaped soil nails in the soil nail holes, the ends of the inverted-U-shaped soil nails are exposed out of the soil nail holes, and the surface layer is arranged on the surface layer. The reinforcing mesh of the surface layer covers the excavated slope surface, and the horizontal pressing ribs are parallel to the excavated slope surface, penetrate through the ends of the inverted-U-shaped soil nails exposed out of the soil nail holes and are tightly pressed on the reinforcing mesh. The invention further discloses a construction method of the inverted-U-shaped soil nail supporting structure. A single soil nail rod is replaced with the inverted-U-shaped soil nail in the technical scheme, the steel consumption of the soil nail rod is reduced on the premise that the bond stress is guaranteed, and the production cost is saved.
