The invention discloses an assembly type prefabricated retaining wall protection slope which comprises a foundation slab, a plurality of hollow box bodies and clamping reinforcing steel bars, the hollow box bodies are formed by casting concrete, and through holes penetrating vertically are formed in the centers of the hollow box bodies; the hollow box bodies are sequentially arranged in the horizontal direction to form a row, then the hollow box bodies are stacked upwards in multiple rows in the vertical direction to form a wall body, and through holes in the centers of the hollow box bodies in each column communicate with one another. Clamping structures are arranged on the two sides of each hollow box body; the clamping structures between every two adjacent hollow box bodies in the horizontal direction are clamped with each other to form a vertical clamping hole, and the clamping reinforcing steel bars vertically penetrate into the clamping holes; the upper end and the lower end of each hollow box body are provided with a connecting plug and a connecting plug hole respectively, and every two adjacent hollow box bodies in the vertical direction are mutually connected and fixed in an inserted mode through the corresponding connecting plugs and the corresponding connecting plug holes.
