The invention relates to the field of building connecting structures, and discloses a building connecting joint and a construction method thereof. Firstly, vertical preliminary positioning and connection between the first main body and the second main body are completed through the connecting main body and the connecting piece; then, the first main body and the second main body are preliminarily positioned and connected in the horizontal transverse direction through the annular component; and finally, a concrete pouring space is formed by the annular sealing plates and the components, and the connection state between the first main body and the second main body is fixed through cast-in-place concrete. Therefore, the stability of the whole structure is greatly enhanced. In the process, due to the arrangement of the connecting main body and the connecting piece, the size of the cross section of the first main body and the size of the cross section of the second main body are not required to be the same, the annular component is further arranged, the size of the cross section of the first main body and the size of the cross section of the second main body are not required to be the same, and only the axis of the first main body and the axis of the second main body need to be the same.
