The invention discloses an auxiliary steel pipe frame for updating an external vertical face of an old building. The auxiliary steel pipe frame comprises an outer sleeve, a steel pipe, an inner sleeve and a supporting frame. The outer sleeve wraps one end of the steel pipe and can rotate around the axis of the steel pipe relative to the steel pipe, and a push rod is arranged on the inner side of the sleeve and arranged in the steel pipe. The inner sleeve is located at the other end of the steel pipe and arranged on the inner side of the steel pipe, a limiting piece is arranged between the inner sleeve and the steel pipe to prevent the inner sleeve from rotating relative to the steel pipe, and the inner sleeve can telescopically move relative to the steel pipe under the action of the push rod; the support frame is fixedly connected with the end part of the inner sleeve, the support frame can be retracted into the inner side of the steel pipe, and when the end part of the inner sleeve extends out of the steel pipe, the support frame is unfolded to form an included angle of 90 degrees with the steel pipe. Through the structural arrangement of the steel pipe frame, the steel pipe frame can be simply fixed to the outer wall of the old building, and a supporting device is provided for constructors.
