The invention provides colored desert sand as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The colored desert sand comprises a product obtained by calcining a component A and a component B, the colored desert sand comprises the following components in parts by weight: 80-100 parts of a component A and 4-6 parts of a component B, the component A comprises pretreated desert sand; and the component B comprises an epoxy group modified organic silicon emulsion and lithium silicate. According to the colored desert sand, the pretreated desert sand and the component B are mixed and calcined to obtain the colored desert sand, so that the problems of saltpetering and poor durability of a paint film caused by high mud content, strong alkalinity and poor strength of the desert sand can be solved, and the colored desert sand is good in stone imitation effect, stable in paint performance and capable of replacing natural colored sand and artificial colored sand; the effective utilization of the desert sand is realized.
本发明提供了一种彩色沙漠砂及其制备方法和应用，所述彩色沙漠砂包括将组分A与组分B煅烧后的产物；以重量份计，所述彩色沙漠砂包括80～100份组分A和4～6份组分B；所述组分A包括预处理沙漠砂；所述组分B包括环氧基改性有机硅乳液和硅酸锂。本发明中，采用预处理沙漠砂，然后将其与组分B混合煅烧，得到的彩色沙漠砂，不仅能够解决因沙漠砂本身含泥量高、碱性强、强度差导致涂料漆膜泛碱、耐久性差的问题，而且仿石效果好，涂料性能稳定，能够代替天然彩砂和人工彩砂，实现沙漠砂的有效利用。
