The invention provides a method for reducing the content of nitrogen oxides in lime kiln tail gas, which comprises the following steps: S1, conveying tail gas in a lime kiln to a second bag type dust collector through a tail gas fan, and filtering, S2, pressurizing the tail gas through a first fan, and feeding the pressurized tail gas into an upper-layer combustion-supporting air ring pipe and a lower-layer combustion-supporting air ring pipe of the lime kiln in two ways, and the branch pipes enter the upper-layer combustion-supporting air ring pipe and the lower-layer combustion-supporting air ring pipe of the lime kiln. According to the method for reducing the content of the nitric oxide in the tail gas of the lime kiln, the first fan is matched with the upper-layer combustion-supporting air ring pipe, the lower-layer combustion-supporting air ring pipe, the main pipe, the second fan, the first cooler and the second cooler, the discharged tail gas is recycled and cooled at the same time, and therefore air is replaced to serve as combustion-supporting air and driving air; and the combustion temperature can be controlled to be low by utilizing the characteristic of low oxygen content, so that nitrogen oxides generated in the combustion process are reduced.
