The invention discloses a method for preparing an artificial gem ornament by using chicken blood jade slag, which comprises the following steps: 1) preparing the chicken blood jade slag into superfine powder, carrying out chemical component analysis on the superfine powder, and adding toning elements according to toning requirements to obtain toning powder; and (2) mixing the toning powder with a binder, carrying out compression molding, putting into a sintering furnace, heating to a preset temperature, slowly cooling after keeping the temperature constant, taking out the sintered product, removing surface residues, and polishing to obtain the product. According to the invention, the waste slag can be processed and reused to prepare artificial gems with different colors, so that wastes are turned into treasures, and good economic benefits are achieved.
