The invention discloses a method for protecting surrounding soil or buildings during foundation pit construction. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, measuring the water level of underground water between a foundation pit and a protected building; the soil body above the underground water between the foundation pit and the protected building is heated for a set heating duration; grouting is conducted on the soil body above the underground water between the foundation pit and the protected building, and the injected cement paste enters the heated soil body; and after the cement paste injected into the heated soil body is condensed, grouting and water pumping are conducted on the soil body in the underground water between the foundation pit and the protected building, water pumping and grouting are conducted synchronously, and the grouting positions are located around the water pumping position. The construction method has the effect of reducing the influence on surrounding soil and buildings during foundation pit construction.
