The invention relates to the technical field of chemical engineering, in particular to a steam curing kettle for preparing alpha-semi-hydrated gypsum by a semi-dry method, the device is generally divided into three parts: a stirring kettle, a pressurizing cabin and the steam curing kettle, the stirring kettle comprises a feed port, a kettle body, a spiral stirring rod and a hanging ring, and gypsum slurry and a crystal modifier enter the stirring kettle through the feed port and then are fully stirred; the pressurizing cabin comprises an upper valve, a lower valve, a humidity sensor, a pressure sensor, a pressurizing pump and a pressure sensor, when the pressure is insufficient, the pressurizing pump supplements pressure, and after the pressure of the pressurizing cabin and the pressure of the steam-curing kettle are balanced, the valves are opened to feed materials into the steam-curing kettle; the steam-curing kettle comprises a rotary kiln, a heating wire, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a pressure sensor, a pressurizing pipe, a water vapor pipe, a control module and a pressure release valve, after slurry is injected into the steam-curing kettle, the pressurizing pipe and the water vapor pipe provide pressure and water vapor for the reaction kettle, and the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor detect the environment in the kettle all the time; and the collected data is transmitted to the control module so as to achieve the most suitable reaction condition.
