The invention discloses a safety hook structure of an engine hood lock, which comprises a base, a hook body, a first elastic piece and a second elastic piece, and is characterized in that the base is used for being detachably fixed on a vehicle body; the hook body comprises a mounting part, a limiting part, a handle part and a hooking part, the lower end of the mounting part is rotationally mounted on the base, the limiting part is fixed to one end of the mounting part, the handle part is fixed to the other end of the mounting part, and the hooking part is arranged between the limiting part and the handle part and is close to the limiting part; the lower end of the hooking part is rotationally mounted on the mounting part; the two ends of the first elastic piece are fixedly connected with the base and the installation part respectively. The safety hook has the beneficial effects that after a primary lock is unlocked, on the premise that the arrangement space of the safety hook is not increased, the engine hood is allowed to be lifted by a larger height, and therefore the requirement that the hand of an operator stretches into an operation handle part is met.
