The invention discloses a method for assembling a screen window, which belongs to door and window facilities, and comprises the following steps: providing a screen, an elastic frame and a window frame, arranging the elastic frame around the screen, connecting the inner periphery of the elastic frame with the outer periphery of the screen to drive the screen to be tensioned, arranging a window in the window frame, matching the window with the elastic frame, and arranging the elastic frame in the window frame, the outer surface of the elastic frame is connected with a first matching part, and the inner surface of the window is provided with a second matching part; applying pressure from outside to inside to the border of the elastic frame, placing the deformed elastic frame into the window, and enabling the first matching part to be opposite to the second matching part; according to the assembly method of the screen window, the screen and the window frame are connected more simply and conveniently, a whole window transportation mode is not needed, and the transportation cost is reduced. The pressure on the elastic frame is released, and the elastic frame elastically expands outwards so as to drive the first matching part and the second matching part to be detachably connected, so that the assembly method of the screen window has the advantages that the connection between the screen and the window frame is simpler and more convenient.
