The invention discloses a karst cave pretreatment method for an open-cut subway station in a karst strong development area. The karst cave pretreatment method comprises the following steps that exploration is conducted within the range of the subway station through a drilling method; comprehensive investigation is conducted between the adjacent drill holes, and an investigation result is obtained; drilling holes are arranged according to the exploration result, and the karst cave boundary is explored; determining a karst treatment range according to the karst cave boundary, and dividing a general influence area and a significant influence area; filling and classifying the karst caves according to the growth and development conditions of the karst; based on the classification of the karst caves, determining a filling mode of the karst caves; a drilling machine is adopted for drilling for karst construction treatment; after construction is completed, the filling area is judged and processed; the area which is not fully filled after supplementary grouting is detected again; excavation of a retaining structure, a stand column pile, an uplift pile and a foundation pit is conducted, and construction of a main body structure is conducted. The influence of insufficient foundation bearing capacity in a karst area on the structure and driving safety is avoided, and the purpose of karst treatment is achieved.
