The invention discloses a closed frame for an open cut tunnel and a manufacturing method of the closed frame. The closed frame for the open cut tunnel comprises a bottom plate 1 located on the ground of the tunnel; the first side wall and the second side wall 2 are parallel to each other and are respectively positioned on the side walls of the tunnel; the middle columns 3 extend upwards from the bottom plate 1 respectively, and the connecting lines of the positions of the middle columns 3 are parallel to the first side wall 2 and the second side wall 2; and the frame consists of a cross beam 4 and a longitudinal beam 5 which are perpendicular to each other, is positioned at the upper ends of the first side wall 2, the second side wall 2 and the plurality of middle columns 3, and is used for supporting a top plate 6. According to the closed frame for the open-cut tunnel and the manufacturing method of the closed frame, the closed frame can effectively share pressure of strata and rocks, tunnel structure collapse is prevented, the stability and safety of the tunnel are ensured, and powerful structural support can be provided in the open-cut tunnel construction process.
