The invention relates to an air blower which comprises a shell extending in the axial direction, a battery pack detachably connected to the shell, a power assembly at least partially contained in the shell and an air pipe assembly connected with the shell. The shell comprises a connecting part located at the axial front end and connected with the air pipe assembly, a mounting part located at the axial rear end and connected with the battery pack and a body part located between the connecting part and the mounting part, the power assembly comprises a motor and a fan driven by the motor to rotate, and the fan rotates to generate airflow passing through the interior of the air pipe assembly; the body part is provided with air inlets located at the axial rear end, the air inlets are roughly located on the two opposite sides of the mounting part in the transverse direction perpendicular to the axial direction, and the battery pack is cooled while the air inlet efficiency is improved.
