The invention discloses a coal gangue slag cementing material and a preparation method thereof.The coal gangue slag cementing material is prepared from 22 parts of coal gangue slag, 3 parts of activated emulsion, 5 parts of aluminum ammonium sulfate, 9 parts of water glass solution, 4 parts of KOH solid, 20 parts of high-activity red mud, 13 parts of sulfuric acid solution and 17 parts of grinding agent.The coal gangue slag is ground into fine powder, and then the coal gangue slag is ground to 100-170-mesh sieve; an activated emulsion accounting for 10-14% of the weight of the mixture is added into the coal gangue slag, and the activated emulsion is prepared by mixing the following raw materials in parts by weight: 7-10 parts of sodium fluosilicate, 0.1-0.2 part of sodium chloride, 0.1-0.2 part of sp-80, 1-2 parts of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and 100-130 parts of deionized water. According to the coal gangue slag cementing material and the preparation method thereof, silicon gel and aluminum gel are adopted as main materials, so that the coal gangue slag cementing material has very high strength and construction performance, calcium stearate is added as a stabilizer to play a cementing role, and the strength of the gel is further improved, so that the coal gangue slag can be recycled, and the cost is reduced. By adding the high-activity red mud, the strength of the gel can be improved.
