The invention provides truss supporting equipment for supporting a steel structure floor support plate and an application method of the truss supporting equipment. The truss supporting equipment is designed to comprise a truss and two supporting power assemblies, and the two supporting power assemblies are detachably installed on two adjacent H-shaped steel beams correspondingly; each supporting power assembly comprises a power device and a supporting assembly hoisted on the power device, and the power device is detachably installed on one H-shaped steel beam; after the supporting assemblies are hoisted to the working face under the driving of the power device, the supporting assemblies and the truss are installed in a butt joint mode, and the truss is supported and fixed between the two H-shaped steel beams under the cooperation of the supporting assemblies and the H-shaped steel beams on the corresponding sides so as to support the steel structure floor support plate. In the whole supporting and fixing process of the steel structure floor support plate, construction face in-place and supporting construction are automatically completed, a tower crane does not need to be occupied for hoisting in the whole process, the installation process of supporting equipment is simple, manpower and material resources are saved, and construction safety risks are reduced.
