The invention discloses a lifting operation platform for a fabricated steel structure building and a construction method of the lifting operation platform, and the lifting operation platform comprises a stand column system which comprises a plurality of supporting stand columns arranged around the outer contour of the fabricated steel structure building; the supporting stand column is arranged in the vertical direction and fixedly connected with a main steel beam of the fabricated steel structure building through a wall attaching rod system. The climbing track is arranged in the length direction of the supporting stand column; the overhanging platform is arranged on the supporting stand column in a driven and sliding mode through the climbing track; and the cantilever platform is arranged around the outer contour of the fabricated steel structure building. By means of the structure, the problems that in the prior art, a traditional scaffold is still used in the construction process of an assembly type steel structure building, so that the construction efficiency of the assembly type building is low, and safety is poor can be effectively solved.
