The invention provides a ventilation system installation method for a modular building. The ventilation system installation method comprises the steps that main body structure frames of all modules are manufactured in a factory; a reserved frame is installed above the entrance door, and a ventilator is installed; a fresh air ventilator and pipelines are installed, the fresh air pipeline extends to the living module, and a carbon dioxide detection device is arranged; the air return pipeline extends to the corridor module; after being transported to a construction site, the modules are assembled and connected, an entrance door is installed, and a gap for ventilation is formed between the entrance door and the ground; the installation hose communicates with a fresh air pipeline. The modular building layout is combined, the equipment room module is arranged, and the noise influence is reduced; airflow exchange is carried out through a gap between the ventilator and the lower portion of the indoor door, and the pipeline material consumption is reduced; by arranging the carbon dioxide detection device, the energy consumption requirement of the fresh air system is reduced; the hose is mounted through the access hole, so that the field mounting working efficiency is improved; the mode of connecting the pipelines through the hoses is more convenient to operate, and meanwhile the construction cost is reduced.
