The building panel (1) has a ramp (10) arranged at least partially along at least one side. A first section of the sub-layer (5) is at least partially exposed in the inclined surface (10), a second section of the sub-layer (5) is at least partially exposed in the at least one opening 10 structure (8) of the wood veneer layer (7), and the color of the first section is different from the color of the second section.
