The invention provides an assembly type alum storage tank construction method which comprises the following steps: S1, constructing a bottom cushion layer of a tank, and reserving wall plate supporting embedded ribs; s2, paying-off positioning is carried out, the prefabricated wallboards are hoisted in place, and the prefabricated wallboards and the wallboard supporting embedded ribs are fixed; s3, steel bars and formworks at the connecting joints of the prefabricated wallboards and the constructional columns are installed; s4, bottom plate upper-layer steel bars and a formwork are installed, bottom plate concrete pouring is conducted, and the bottom plate and the prefabricated wall plate are connected into a whole in a pouring mode; and S5, hoisting of the laminated slab and pouring of a top plate are conducted. The cushion layer is constructed, the wallboard supporting embedded ribs are reserved on the cushion layer, the splicing scheme is optimized, the prefabricated wallboards and the bottom plate are poured into a whole in a pouring mode, the construction requirement of the large alum storage pool is met, and the construction efficiency is greatly improved.
