The invention discloses an operation platform for overpass decoration construction, which comprises platform frames arranged on two sides of an overpass along the driving direction, and each platform frame comprises a bottom foundation arranged on a traffic lane, an operation platform arranged on the top of the bottom foundation and a connecting structure, the connecting structure comprises a plurality of I-shaped steel and a fixing assembly, wherein the I-shaped steel is erected on the bottom foundation in the direction perpendicular to the traveling direction, the I-shaped steel is fixed to the top of the bottom foundation through the fixing assembly, and the working platform and the bottom foundation are connected and fixed through the fixing assembly to form a whole. The invention further discloses an erecting method of the operation platform for overpass decoration construction. According to the working platform for overbridge decoration construction, the erection of a floor type steel pipe scaffold is replaced by the erection of a steel frame structure, so that the mounting and dismounting workload of a traditional scaffold is reduced; according to the erecting method, the construction period can be effectively shortened, large influences on living and traveling of residents are avoided, and the requirements for safety of construction workers and construction operation quality are met.
