The method comprises the steps that in response to a received vehicle door opening instruction issued by a passenger in a vehicle after the vehicle is static, a target vehicle door requested to be opened is determined according to the vehicle door opening instruction; adjusting a target vehicle door lamp corresponding to the target vehicle door from a light-off state to a light-on state; a corresponding vehicle door lamp is arranged on the outer surface, making contact with the external space, of each vehicle door. And in response to the condition that the target vehicle door lamp maintains the lighting state for more than the first preset duration, adjusting the vehicle door lock of the target vehicle door from the previously maintained locking state to an unlocking state. By applying the method, the occurrence of traffic accidents such as door opening and killing can be avoided as much as possible.
