The invention discloses a BCZT-based energy storage ceramic material with high breakdown field strength and a preparation method of the BCZT-based energy storage ceramic material, the composition general formula of the BCZT-based energy storage ceramic material is (Ba0. 85Ca0. 85) [(Zr0. 10Ti0. 90) 1-x (Nb0. 5La0. 5) x] O3, x = 0.06-0.15, x = 0.05-0.15, x = 0.05-0.15, and x = 0.05-0.15. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the BCZT-based energy storage ceramic material with high breakdown field strength. A solid phase method is adopted for preparation, and the specific preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing materials according to the stoichiometric ratio of the chemical formula, then carrying out ball milling and presintering to obtain (Ba0. 85Ca0. 85) [(Zr0. 10Ti0. 90) 1-x (Nb0. 5La0. 5) x] O3 powder, carrying out fine grinding on the powder, adding polyvinyl alcohol for granulation, and carrying out compression molding to obtain a biscuit; removing organic substances in the biscuit at 500 DEG C to obtain a raw material green body; and sintering the raw material blank body at the temperature of 1400-1450 DEG C to obtain the BCZT-based energy storage ceramic material. The preparation method of the BCZT-based energy storage ceramic material is simple, good in repeatability and high in yield, and has the characteristics of high energy storage density (Wre = 3.1 J/cm < 3 >), high efficiency (86.7%), high breakdown field strength (Eb = 410 kV/cm), excellent fatigue resistance and the like.
