The invention belongs to the field of foundation engineering, and particularly relates to a rock anchor cable self-locking anchor plate structure and an installation method.The structure comprises a foundation platform, a lower anchor plate, an annular wedge block, an anchor cable and an upper anchor plate; the foundation platform is poured on the top surface of the rock drill hole and is provided with an open hole aligned with the rock drill hole; the anchor cable is anchored between the upper anchor plate and the lower anchor plate; the lower anchor plate is a cone frustum, and the annular wedge block abuts against the outer portion of the lower anchor plate in a surrounding mode. The upper anchor plate abuts against the surface of the foundation platform, and the annular wedge block abuts against the inner wall face of a rock drill hole. The lower anchor plate abuts against the annular wedge block under the action of the anchor cable, the annular wedge block pressurizes a rock drill hole through radial component force, and structural self-locking is formed by balancing the tensile force of the anchor cable based on static friction force.
