The invention discloses a water-resisting layer-confined water layer interbed inrush whole process simulation test device which comprises a box body, backpack water tanks are fixedly connected to opposite side faces of the box body respectively, and each backpack water tank is fixedly connected with a constant-pressure water source supply assembly; a plate on one opposite surface of the box body is made of stainless steel, a plate on the other opposite surface of the box body is made of transparent glass, the interior of the box body is divided into a clay water-resisting layer and a confined water layer, and the backpack water tank is located at the confined water layer; a plate at the adjacent part of the box body and the backpack water tank is a water-permeable sand-filtering plate, and a plurality of water-permeable holes are formed in the water-permeable sand-filtering plate; a bottom plate of the box body is a stainless steel plate, and the bottom plate is provided with an inrush simulation assembly. According to the device and the method, different confined water pressures, confined water layer thicknesses and inrush crack widths, namely inrush water and sand amounts can be controlled and adjusted, and real-time acquisition and monitoring of stratum displacement, stratum strain and the inrush water and sand amounts, real-time non-disturbance acquisition and monitoring of stratum water and soil pressure and real-time monitoring and recording of the whole inrush catastrophe process are realized.
