The invention discloses a movable sloping roof material stacking device and a construction method thereof. The device comprises a groove-shaped hopper with an opening in the top, a hopper hanging ring, a back hanging safety frame, a pulley supporting rod, a supporting walking unit, a convertible walking supporting unit and an adjustable safety supporting leg rod, wherein the convertible walking supporting unit is arranged on the bottom face of the groove-shaped hopper and used for assisting the groove-shaped hopper in moving or supporting. The posture of the groove-shaped hopper is kept with the help of the slope roof ridge structure, the tedious procedure that in the prior art, a stacking platform positioning component needs to be additionally pre-buried is omitted, and therefore the construction efficiency is improved; in addition, by arranging a surface contact type and wheel type hybrid connection structure, flexible switching between wheel type adjustment and surface contact type pressure reduction supporting of the stacking platform is effectively achieved, flexible movement of the stacking platform is achieved, and the technical effect that damage to the pitched roof caused by point contact is also prevented is achieved.
