The invention relates to a construction method for a newly-added ground ring beam of an old building. The construction method comprises the following steps that inclined strut foundations are poured on the ground on one side or two sides of a wall; a plurality of cross beams are hoisted on the two sides of the wall respectively and connected in an opposite-pulling mode through split bolts; a connecting piece is fixedly connected to the cross beam; a plurality of stand columns are arranged on the two sides of the wall respectively and connected with the cross beams through connecting pieces. Inclined struts are arranged between the inclined strut foundations and the stand columns; bricks at the root of the wall body are dismantled, a segmented hole forming mode is adopted, and supporting pieces are used in formed holes for supporting; the non-holed part of the root of the wall body is sequentially dismantled in a segmented mode, and the wall body is supported through a supporting piece; binding ground ring beam reinforcing steel bars at the root of the wall body; erecting a ground ring beam template; pouring ground ring beam concrete; the inclined struts, the stand columns and the beams are dismantled. The construction method is low in cost, easy and convenient to construct, high in safety, easy to implement, small in needed operation space and high in popularization value.
