The invention relates to the technical field of road construction, and discloses a honeycomb graded broken stone composite base layer construction method which comprises the following steps: leveling and cleaning the surface of a roadbed to form a flat surface; a plurality of honeycomb cell bodies are provided, each honeycomb cell body comprises a plurality of cell units, a filling area is defined by the cell units, and the cell units are arranged to form a honeycomb shape; the multiple honeycomb cell bodies are opened and laid on the flat face, the filling areas are expanded outwards, then the adjacent honeycomb cell bodies are mutually connected and fixed through connecting structures, and a honeycomb layer is formed; the honeycomb layer is paved with graded broken stone, all the filling areas are completely filled with the graded broken stone, and a filler layer is formed; the filler layer is ground to be flat until the compactness, the flatness and the deflection value reach set standards, and a compacted layer is formed; the method comprises the following steps: uniformly spreading emulsified asphalt on the surface of a compaction layer, paving an asphalt mixture on the compaction layer by using a paver, and compacting the asphalt mixture by using a road roller to form an asphalt surface layer positioned on the compaction layer.
