The pile group foundation bearing platform for resisting the horizontal earthquake comprises a bearing platform body and an energy consumption device, and the energy consumption device comprises an energy consumption mechanism, a vibration power source mechanism and a cable; the energy consumption mechanism is connected with the vibration power supply mechanism through a cable; current provided by the vibration power supply mechanism is increased along with the increase of the vibration amplitude of the bearing platform; the energy consumption mechanism comprises two energy consumption assemblies which are overlapped up and down, each energy consumption assembly comprises a shell, an elastic piece, a mass block, a magnet exciting coil and magnetorheological fluid, and the mass block is provided with a damping through hole for the magnetorheological fluid to penetrate through. In the application, when the vibration power supply mechanism can correspondingly and dynamically adjust the magnitude of the current in the excitation coil according to the intensity of the earthquake action actually borne by the bearing platform, the damping coefficient of the movement of the magnetorheological fluid is dynamically changed, so that the damping coefficient in the energy consumption assembly is matched with the intensity of the actual horizontal earthquake action; therefore, good vibration reduction and energy consumption effects are achieved.
