The gas switching system comprises a converter gas pipeline, a cooling fan and a low-pressure nitrogen pipeline, and the converter gas pipeline is connected with a spray gun of a left kiln chamber through a left kiln chamber rear gas valve and connected with a spray gun of a right kiln chamber through a right kiln chamber rear gas valve; an air outlet of the cooling fan is connected with a spray gun of the left kiln chamber through a left kiln chamber cold air valve and is connected with a spray gun of the right kiln chamber through a right kiln chamber cold air valve; the low-pressure nitrogen pipeline is connected with a gas outlet end pipeline of the left kiln chamber rear gas valve through the left kiln chamber anti-explosion valve and connected with a gas outlet end pipeline of the right kiln chamber rear gas valve through the right kiln chamber anti-explosion valve. The invention also provides a gas switching method.
