The invention discloses a zirconium oxide implant material and a preparation method thereof, the zirconium oxide implant material comprises an implant part and a zirconium oxide abutment, and the preparation method of the zirconium oxide abutment comprises the following steps: (1) drawing design: selecting an implant and a matched metal abutment, surveying and mapping a hexagonal connecting part of the abutment and the implant by using a laser three-dimensional measuring instrument, and drawing an abutment drawing; in the preparation process of the zirconium oxide abutment, a secondary sintering method is adopted, a formed green body is primarily sintered to obtain a loose and porous zirconium oxide ceramic block, then the ceramic block is ground according to the amplified size of the zirconium oxide abutment to obtain an initial shape of the abutment, and then the initial shape of the abutment is sintered to the final sintering temperature to enable the material to be completely compact to obtain the zirconium oxide abutment. After secondary sintering, the grain boundary strength of the zirconia ceramic is reduced, the mechanical property is reduced, but all properties of the material can still meet clinical requirements, and meanwhile, the repair cost of dental implant is reduced.
