The invention discloses a graphite bar roasting forming method which can be used for carrying out improved auxiliary roasting operation on a bar-shaped graphite product blank, enough machining allowance is reserved in the axial direction and the radial direction when the bar-shaped graphite product blank is formed, and the bar-shaped graphite product blank is vertically placed through a roasting carrier before roasting. Pre-heating operation is utilized for pretreatment before formal roasting, and roasting and high-temperature graphitization treatment are carried out according to the roasting process requirements of the graphite bar after the pre-heating operation is completed; and after the treatment is completed, naturally cooling along with the furnace, taking out the rod-like graphite product blank and the roasting carrier, sawing off the bottom of the rod-like graphite product blank, and then fettling to obtain the finished graphite rod after the fettling is completed. The graphite rod material roasting device is specially used for roasting the graphite rod material, is low in production cost, high in production efficiency and remarkable in economic benefit, and can effectively reduce the influence of the asphalt material in the graphite rod material on the quality of the formed graphite rod material.
