The invention discloses an inorganic intumescent cured foam material and a preparation method thereof. The inorganic intumescent cured foam material is prepared by mixing, expanding and foaming 20%-30% of a material A, 45%-55% of a material B and 20%-30% of water, wherein the material A is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 10%-30% of fly ash, 10%-30% of bentonite, 5%-20% of calcium carbonate and 40%-60% of phosphate cement; and the material B is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 15%-25% of 1-hydroxyethylidene-1, 1-diphosphonic acid, 1%-10% of ammonium chloride, 1%-5% of sodium phosphate, 0.1%-0.8% of cocamidopropyl betaine and 50%-80% of water. The inorganic intumescent cured foam material has the characteristics of non-combustibility, almost no heat release, strong bonding and reinforcing capability, high compressive strength, controllable foaming times and the like, has a very obvious effect of preventing and controlling spontaneous combustion of coal, and is simple and safe in operation process and low in cost.
