The invention provides a rotary type energy dissipation amplification viscoelastic damper and an anti-seismic system thereof. The damper comprises a transmission amplification steel plate, a macromolecule viscoelastic material layer and a fixed steel plate. The fixed steel plate is fixedly connected with a first plane building component, at least one side of the fixed steel plate is provided with a transmission amplification steel plate, a macromolecule viscoelastic material layer which is mutually bonded with the transmission amplification steel plate and the fixed steel plate is arranged between the transmission amplification steel plate and the fixed steel plate, and the transmission amplification steel plate can circumferentially rotate relative to the fixed steel plate; the transmission amplification steel plate is in rolling fit with the second plane building component, and the first plane building component and the second plane building component are two building components which are not located on the same plane and can generate relative displacement. Fusion of the swing wall technology and the structure passive control technology is achieved, the energy dissipation capacity is further improved through the displacement rotation amplification technology, the dynamic response of the structure under the earthquake action is reduced, and the structure safety is improved.
